Can I reserve one of those GPS engines please? I have a 302 ACFR
flight recorder which is displaying 1995 and no-longer downloads
flights. Even before that, when it worked mostly correctly, it would
never display the flight time when briefly pressing the Go button on
the 303 display that it drives - it alway showed 0:00 h:mm. I wrote to
Cambridge ages ago and the support guy thought it might have been GPS
engine related even then.
I won't get a chance to get the instrument out of the glider for a
week or two, but be assured I'll send it.
Can you remind me of your mailing address and what the approx cost is
for the work?

PS You previously replaced the potentiometer in a Microair radio for

VARIO3.0 beta and 3.1 will be out very shortly so keep checking
ClearNav web site for the latest. I gather the jump from 2.7 will
have improved performance of the vario especially the gusty broken
days.
I have some of these new temperature probes for the vario. I am
uncertain how it improves the vario performance.
MFD (Multi Function Display)There is a mod to have an external speaker
so you can hear the FLARM alert audio. It is hugely better in volume.
MFD II is finally available and older units can be updated at a
price. The screen is even brighter and uses less power.
CAMBRIDGE 302 vario/loggersI now have 6 more Garmin GPS 15xL-W engines
(3 not spoken for). With the old GPS15 engine the instrument still
works including navigation but will not down load a flight. If you
check the date you will probably see 2005 (or maybe 1995) PLEASE CHECK
DATE as I am still finding owners with date/download issues.
