Hi Alan,
I fully support your proposal outlined in your Proxy, as does our CFI, Markus
Trnovsky (Bordertown-Keith Gliding Club). We recently purchased a S/H Puchacz
so we could comply with GFA/CASA requirement to do fully developed spins at
annual flight reviews.
While I am happy to do aerobatics and spins at my leisure in suitably certified
aircraft, do not think this is necessary or safe to do on a regular annual
flight review. We should be taught spin avoidance and to recognise the
possibility of a spin developing and correct flying.
Our other 2 seater, Twin Astir will not spin except under certain conditions.
I have discussed this with committee members of GFA, but little has resulted
from this.
Regards,
Peter Brookman
President Bordertown-Keith Gliding Club.

Terry,

Yes I had seen the notice of meeting to be held at Camden 29/30 August 2015 and
had commented on some editorial issues.

I have had a look at a previous AGM minutes and as you allude, the AGM meeting
is very procedural whereas many of my issues are at an operational level that I
believe may be subject of other meetings held while GFA representatives are
together.

So I intend having my proxy at the meeting.

The caveats and issues I believe are of import at an operational level are
discussed briefly in the attached proxy.

Have a good series of meetings.

      Hi all

I have received a hand full of Proxies for the AGM but we need to make
sure that we have at least 100 votes for the motion to pass, and votes from
each region.

If each of you can encourage 10+ people to give you their proxy that
would ensure we get a quorum of votes.

Copy of proxy form attached for your use
