I live in the SE Suburbs, and while I am not currently participating, still get alerts for new activity in our area with new nodes being setup on an infrequent basis.
I am high on a hill overlooking much of the SE suburbs - so it's always been of interest - just never got around to it. Hi John, I’ll put you in touch off-list with one of the committee members of Melbourne Wireless who runs an active node in that exact area, he should be able to assist. They still have lots of active nodes, as per their connectivity map and I’ve heard the website is soon to be updated! Hi All. I stumbled across the outdated www.melbournewireless.org.au<http://www.melbournewireless.org.au> website and I am interested to know if there is still any active wireless nodes around the SE Burbs/Dandenong Foothills region. I would be interested in getting some PtP wireless networks up if there is anyone still out there to connect to.
