It looks odd, especially when on the opposite page there are instructions
for the recommended way of creating a master document. Personally I would
put the recommended ways of performing a task first and put the one that is
not recommended last. It gives a better impression of the product.
I agree that it would be best to have the recommended approach first
and then mention for the sake of completenes the quick and dirty
approach (which is still useful in some scenarios).
I'll put this topic into the "enhancement request" bucket for the next
major update to the book.
