I received the tutorial. Thanks. I already have a copy though. So,
my next question to the group is to where should this tutorial be
uploaded for others to use? My copy is dated 24 August 2010. I don't
know if this is the most recent version or not. Does someone else have a
version with a later date? I would like to see it on the website as soon
as possible.

Progress in rewriting this chapter: now beginning the section
of using SQL in the SQL VIEW of the Query Design dialog. Much of the
material written earlier can be used as is. Only a review is
necessary in most cases.

Dan, I think that is the most recent version of Mariano's tutorial.
IMO, the tutorial should be placed on the OOo wiki as a downloadable
PDF. We can link to it from various places on the wiki, including of
course the main Docs page, and from anywhere else.

If this is still under development, wouldn't ODT be better than PDF?
I believe Mariano's tutorial was considered complete when it was
uploaded to the OOo website in August 2010. Dan said he wants to link to
it from the Base Guide chapter he is writing, not edit the tutorial
itself. I don't know if any of us (other than Mariano, the author) have
the ODT.

Zoltan sent me a copy of this tutorial that is the Second Edition
(September 2010). So at least he and I have what is probably the latest edition.
My next question now is what would be the appropriate place to put this
tutorial? I don't have any experience working with a wiki, and I don't know if
Zoltan does either. If he or I could provide someone else with a copy of this
tutorial, would that person be so nice to place it on the OOo wiki as a
downloadable PDF?
