Thank you so much for your help and your quick response, Jean. I hope to be a contributor before long. In the meantime I shall be following along to keep up with things. ;-)

Your account is still there, and we're trying to avoid accidentally

No doubt someone's account will get deleted by accident if they haven't

Does this mean that those of us who have registered (immediately after
the changeover to ODFAuthors from OOoAuthors) have accounts still or
do we no longer have accounts? I've not contributed yet as I've been
recovering from a protracted illness. I'm confused. ( A frequent
occurrence it seems...LOL...) Please advise. Thanks.

The vast majority of new user accounts at ODFAuthors appear to be from
would-be spammers. The. Admins have been removing these accounts but
it's a lot of work and we've decided that it's much less work for us
to set up accounts on request. So we've turned off self-registration.
No one needs an account unless they intend to contribute. They can get
published docs without an account.

I'll be updating the main pages and other places to give the revised
instructions.
