Hi Chris,

After introducing myself, went to the following as suggested, but it came up with 'Apologies'

We were just biten by Murphy's law. Just today I made a change to the website that broke some links, and I've been fixing them. Could you tell me on which page you saw that link? I'll fix it with all speed.
This is where I went when I clicked on the aforementioned (which was in your eMail)

http://oooauthors.org/groups/authors/userguide2/contributing

In the mean time, the correct URL is:

http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/contribute

And, of course, the best resource is this list itself. :-)

Do you have an account at OOoAuthors? The first step is to get an account. The second is to let me knwo what it is (or let Jean know, or Janet, or Linda) and we'll give you access to the user guide folder (this is the "author role").

I am not sure but I thought that Jean gave me something or you did. Will have to check my files. (on the other eMail client)

After that we can get you started. The best way to get started is to grab a document from the review list (you'll see as soon as I give you author role). Reviewing a document is the best way to get started. It's a short-term project, and it'll get you up to speed fairly quickly.

Then you can keep reviewing chapters if you like. Or at any time, you can decide to write a chapter yourself.

But before writing a chapter, I do recommend reviewing at least one chapter. Ideally more.
I shall review for awhile, need instructions on what to look for.

Cheers,
Chris email is Ikenugle
