I know that it would be more "accurate" to mention that Writer could also be used
for that. But adding this accuracy would make the instructions much more
complicated. And instructions that are accurate, but illegible are less useful
than instructions which are easy to understand, and 'good enough'.

If we add information about calculations in table cells in Writer to the chapter on tables in the Writer Guide (as I think we should -- see a separate note from me on this thread), then perhaps a reference from the chapter on Math Objects to the chapter on Tables (as well as, or in place of, the ref to the Calc Guide) would be appropriate.


Note: I'm only suggesting a reference, not a discussion, about this in the Math Objects chapter. I completely agree that any more than that would make the instructions much more complicated, and that is undesirable.
