Maybe it is necessary to change the top page to indicate proper OSX

Today is the first time I can remember the question coming up. We are
really glad to gain some Mac users, but we have no experience to share
with you and there is no way for you to run OOoV2.
I don't think so, there are plenty of beta build for OSX, I have .93 in
French, the last English version is going to be updated to .107 next
week etc etc.
In fact I have a contact with one of the beta builders for OSX and I
may be able to upload it to my server space for OOAuthors OSX users :)
I'm thinking aloud now... would be interested in other people's
opinions on my musings below.
I wonder if it would be good for you and other Mac users (either X11
or NeoOfficeJ) to check the V1 docs against the Mac ports and see if
there are any differences that should be noted. In fact, this sounds
like a really good reason to possibly even develop some more V1 docs.
I'm sure there will be many people who will, for various reasons, keep
using OOoV1, so it would be good to have docs for them.
As far as the NeoOffice docs are concerned, they are all up to date I'd
say. And since OSX v1 is very much based on Linux v1 (and from what
I've heard on the French lists) it is extremely unlikely that docs are
that different. But I am really thinking aloud :)
A lot of new chapters have been written for V2 since we stopped
writing the V1 docs; they could perhaps be amended for V1, to complete
the set of V1 docs.
Ok.
