Oh, good! I did not know that. I am so glad you are here. I have learned something new already. You can teach us more. If you tell me what needs to go on the Authors website about this information, I'll put it there.

Here we are !

http://ooo.lab-project.net/~ebachard/MacOSX/

I don't suppose it is a very public link since I never say it outside of the dev-fr/labo/qa lists but you can check with Eric to see it is OK to put it on the OOAUthor top page.

I want to get some screenshots from the Mac V2 to put in the Getting Started book. Could you help on that? I can tell you which ones.

I could help you but I don't use the X11 version of OOo on Mac, I use exclusively NeoOffice/J, if your partner installs it I suppose you'll get all the screenshots you want :) I may download a recent build for some tests, but that won't be before next week.

In fact I have a contact with one of the beta builders for OSX and I may be able to upload it to my server space for OOAuthors OSX users :)

Hooray! That would be great.

It may not be needed if Eric agrees to have the link publicized. If not I won't mind sharing my space for OOAuthor until 2.0 is officially released.

I am excited about this! I really had not been paying attention to the Mac side of things and did not know how far it had got.

Nobody is :( It looks like there has been a lot of misunderstanding and that people were convinced that 2.0 for Mac would never exist ! But that is not the case. The historical developers are not active anymore if I understand well, but there is about a half dozen individuals who try to get some kind of coordination to get the 2.0 on the Mac, and Patrick Luby uses that base to create NeoOffice :)
