I meant that once we are working and creating in V2, then it won't be a problem, will we still have remake the figure then?

Peter, I meant that, as far as I've been able to determine, when
creating documents and working in V2 using .odt files, the
problem of "callouts not staying in the correct relationship with
the graphics when a PDF is created" is still there. However, I
haven't tested this enough to see how extensive the problem is,
whether it's a known issue, or what to put in an issue report --
or indeed if it's "user error" or a problem with explanations of
what to do, rather than a problem with the program itself.

More importantly at the moment, though, is learning how to work
with graphics so what we want to do works. I know it can be done,
because the figures Daniel did for his "Intro with Styles"
chapter are grouped (so that all the elements of the group keep
their position in the group) but can be ungrouped for editing or
translation purposes. I don't know how Daniel did them -- when I
try to group a screenshot with callouts (working within Writer),
I can't get the screenshot to be part of the group. I assume
Daniel is working in GIMP or Draw, and then getting the grouped
graphics into Writer -- perhaps just cut and paste? I don't know,
nor do I have time to test the possibilities.

Daniel, I hope you will have time to tell us the secret!

Cheers, Jean
