Hi Jean
Could I have some feedback please?
I selected the file from the review list, dl the file and reviewed it...
I saved it (with I hope the right name convention) and then uploaded it to the
same folder again, changed the status now so that it shows as pending. But in
the Contents display I see that there are in fact two documents, one that is
shown as visible (yours of 15Jul) and mine of 24Jul which shows up
as pending. So I made a mistake of not giving it exactly the same
description as before?
Reviewed files should go in the Feedback folder for the relevant
book, not in the main folder. We do not want reviewers to
overwrite the original document, so the fact that you gave it a
different name is good.
Yes, you got the file naming convention right.
I've now moved the file from the main Writer folder to the
Feedback folder, and removed the "Pending" status.
Why is the entry of the 15Jul version marked as visible
although it was on the review list? Was the review list out of date? Does
visible mean the file has been published for all to see? Did I waste my time
or ....?
It's marked "visible" because you retracted it when you took it
for review. That is what's supposed to happen. "Submit" puts it
on the review list and marks it "Pending"; "retract" takes it off
the review list and marks it "Visible". Yes, it's confusing!
Sorry for the confusion, I thought I had read all the stuff I needed to for my
first review but seems I missed something.
Lots of people put their first reviewed file in the wrong folder,
so I suspect I need to look at improving the instructions again.
Did you find this page?

It's linked from another page that has fewer details,
