As you wrote that you have went to the desciprions, I hope that you have also discovered the http://oooauthors.org/de site, where it is described in German ... ;) If you really want to help us to translate the documentation into German, I would recommend you Timo's guideline (http://oooauthors.org/de/Vorlagen/Uebersetzung_OOo_Leitfaden_komplett.sxw) and also to proofread first to familiarize with our way of translation.
