When someone retracts a file, its state is changed to "visible"
on this page (or the equivalent page for some other book):

The person's username appear as "last modified by" on the file
view page for the specific file; for example, this one shows your
username:

So you have successfully retracted "Formatting Pages", not
"Working with Styles". This is good, because "Formatting Pages"
is a chapter that needs checking, but "Working with Styles" was
checked and moved to the final-published folder a few weeks ago.
