I plan on putting Setting Up Guide, Getting Started Guide, Writer Guide,
Adobe on the CD
plus the downloaded file.
Now does anyone know how to install a executable OOo 2 on the disc? I
think that it is called a "live CD"
Check out The Open CD ... http://www.theopencd.org/
They have a new version 3.1 that is a LiveCD based on Ubuntu Breezy,
and from the web page it has OOo 2.0 on it.
I have the 3.0, and it works great, but the OOo was in the 1.0 series.
The neat thing about this CD is you can boot into it for a live demo,
which gives you a fairly functional version of a Linux live cd, but if
you load it while Windows (ugh!) is running, it loads a nice installer
that will allow you to install OOo, Firefox, Gimp for Win, etc.
REALLY nice!
Also, they do have some basic instructions for hacking it.
In fact, I would think they would be interested in adding the Guide to it.
