I have just been informed that my proposal for a seminar about FOSS
and translation was accepted.

Although not exclusively related to OOo, this is what I have been
doing to promote OOo/ODF in the translation business for the last 12
months (we had similar seminar/workshops organized by Japan LUG or
within the OpenSourceConference etc).
I'll basically talk about the potential of a FOSS environment in the
translation world, based on OOo/OmegaT/OpenLanguageTools (ex
SunTranslationEditor).
Since Authors is a source of translations created in/for similar
environments, I'd like to have your opinion as freelance/volunteer
translators, about the potential of FOSS in that business.
I am aware of OmegaT's limitations (being user support list owner and
manual maintainer/author) but I'd like to have a more OOo/ODF
perspective to not focus on the translation tools themselves but on
the potential of such a combination.
