It's a very clear and detailed description. But if you think that the original 
description it's fine, you should not change it.
And you don't worry, in my translation the text says clearly that the length 
of any field must be, at least, equal to length of its longest value, and it 
suggest to take an a bit major value.
Anyway, I think that this new description is so clear, easy to understand, and 
detailed that now my great-grandmother can understand it.
