     I have been in the middle of a recent discussion on Writer/Web
with others saying about the same things as Jean just mentioned.
     As near as I can tell, Writer/web can be used to do part of the
work, but the resulting file needs to modified before it can be
classified as valid by W3C. A basic understanding of CSS (cascading
style sheets) is also needed. Styles are a definite prerequisite.
     However, web pages can be created with Writer/Web that most
browsers will render fairly well. The main problem with the source
code is either an addition of extra attributes (e.g., Name=Graphic1)
or missing attribute (e.g., <STYLE> instead of <STYLE
TYPE="TEXT/CSS">).
