Gary,
Thank you very much for doing this review; I really appreciate
it. I'll look at it soon and fix the chapter as needed.
As you note, this draft suffered from, amongst other things, the
perils of copying from elsewhere and then not checking the
results closely enough, esp. to remove refs to things not
included (I did catch and delete some other refs, btw).
Would you have time to tackle some of the draft Impress Guide
chapters? All of those on the Review List are well advanced,
though one chapter (I don't remember which) still has a missing
tip to be written.
Cheers, Jean

Regina: You didn't affix your name to your review, so I took the liberty
and did it for you. BTW, thanks for your input. An extra pair of eyes
and a different POV comes in handy. Feel free to volunteer for another
review again.
This chapter is not ready for prime-time publication. There is at least
one missing subsection because there are two instances of incomplete
cross-references suggesting that they lead to missing text in the
chapter. It should be rewritten so as to become complete and consistent.
Figures 13 and 14 are terribly botched because they are incoherent.
Figure 13 was to supply the necessary data for Figure 14. However,
instead Figure 13 supplied nothing more than the default dialog box
data--nothing more. There were three major disagreements between those
two figures as far as supplying the correct rotation data (0 degrees
given--should have been +10 degrees (CCW), the correct number of copies
(1 given--should have been ten), and no color change data was provided.
Figure 13 needs to be redone in order to reflect reality...
Confer the previous email for other items about this chapter.

I have reorganised and added a lot of material to Chapter 8, Getting
Started with Draw, in the Getting Started guide. I used material from
the Draw Guide.
I would really like to have someone review this chapter. Perhaps
someone in the German team who is working on the Draw Guide could look
at this chapter? I don't want to copy mistakes from the English Draw
Guide to the Getting Started book! (I did see several illustrations
that seemed to be wrong. I amended them; I hope I've got them right now.)
