I would simply extend the offer I made before to you directly. If there
is anything I can help you with please don't hesitate to ask. It seems I
am not much of a writer, but I am fairly handy technically.
Jean mentioned mining the forum for topics, a great idea - in fact one
that a number of people ( moderators and heavy posters at OOoForum )
are discussing at the moment. One difference being this will not be
limited to Base, but rather a team is forming with different folks each
taking a module. The goal will be to offer a 'Best of the forum' type
multi-author blog. Most likely we will host this on a new site running
Drupal and use the tagging features of the CMS package to tag each of
the articles for end user searches. Once the new site if up, we will be
letting people know how they can request a slot in the posting schedule,
just in case anyone here might be interested.
One final suggestion. There are a number of features ( or lack there of
) that seem to cause the most problems for users. ( at least the
anecdotal evidence for such a statement is at the forum ) and if you
like I believe I have a good handle on what those issues are, so if you
are looking for subjects I would gladly pass that along to you.
