How does one edit an added word in the spellchecker for applying its

Garry,
You can edit equal-signs into new or existing dictionary entries
("ses=qui=pedal=ian") to act as conditional hyphens, which works fine
for newly-typed words. Existing instances within the text are not
automagically affected, at least not immediately. I leave it to you to
play with close-reopen, manual invocation of Spellcheck, or maybe Find &
Replace.
