But the main problem is still alive! I've check all folders and it seems that really the member folders are the problem, not the normal
folders with our OOoAuthors.org stuff in it.

I've crated a local copy of our content (without the user accounts and member folders) for the worst case, the site will crash.
But I believe we had to delete the member folders soon :-(

I wonder how many active members use their personal folders. I don't use mine (and when I tried to look at it to see if anything was there, I got a "key error").

IIRC, we had some problems awhile ago with spammers joining up and filling up their personal folders with junk, but I thought that had been fixed: that only people with Author status can save into personal folders.
The problem was fixed in the way that simple members could not ad new (!) stuff. The existing stuff was not deleted, cause no one knows how is abusing the member folders and Members with authors state could add, what they want :-(.

I'll be transfer the content to the new plone site next week. One Question, is the FAQ needed and up to date? Cause its the only product which is not compatible to the new plone Version. If we still need it I'll look for a converter faq to wiki or something like that.

When the content is up on the new site I'll set an 'deadline' for the old site in order to give the members time to save personal material. With a relaunch of oooauthors.org we will get a smart and secure site with some new features.

Regards
Marko

I think you are right, we have to delete the member folders. Active members should be aware there is a problem and should have taken steps to move anything they want to keep.
