I have uploaded (I think) Ch 4 of the translation. I tried to compress the
screen shots that I took but it still weighed in at 3MB. I guess Peter
will wave his magic wand and shrink the document a bit when he does the
final screenshots.
As a matter of 'principle', I redid screen shots only when OOo 2.3 has
changed from the English original text, or where Wolfgang's (excellent)
examples were clearly in German. If you would want me to to redo all the
screenshots then I can, but production time will slow down as much of my
work is done on an IBM X21 (12" display) on a bus or a train ;=)
I figured for your purposes it is better to get the text translated so
that the "profis" can get to work on editing/graphics. Is that in line
with your thinking?
Thanks for the fast work on Ch4!
Regarding the graphics-- yes, Peter will most likely redo all the
graphics anyway, so no need for you to spend time on them.
Annotating any that you know need changes or translation (as you
did for a few in Ch3) is great. BTW, I found that opening the
large ones in The Gimp and saving again knocked most of them down
to 1/10th of their former filesize.
