If you have generated the picture on the lower left side, you have got
an object of type "metafile". It contains a polygon for each color and a
lot of rectangles and squares which form the background. You can break
the metafile with Modify > Break. Now you can access the single color
polygons. I have delete each color polygon until I get the pure background.
(Tips for deleting:
If you make a long click on a color with a curved edge, you see the
foreground areas clearly. So you are sure, that you delete the right one.
Have a look at the left side of the status bar. A foreground color
polygon has a text like "polygon nnn corners selected" and a background
rectangle has a text like "Square selected" or "Rectangle selected".)
