3) Terminology in "Using Applied Styles Menu" (title and following

Thanks for catching that. It should be "list". That's what the same
item is called in Ch7 and in the Getting Started book. (The "box" in
"list box" is unnecessary and irrelevant; we rarely if ever use it,
except in topics aimed at more technical audiences.)

Jean,
I am only concerned that the user be able to find what we're talking
about. Perhaps start the section, "The Apply Styles list box, on the
Formatting toolbar, . . . ", and refer to "list" thereafter.

Mentioning the Formatting toolbar is a good idea, even though there is a
diagram showing its location (the label on which needs to be changed from
"menu" to "list"). The word "box" would not help me find the item in
question. OTOH, the phrase "drop-down list" might be useful, in case people
might be looking for a list that is always visible (instead of only one
item on that list).
I think the problem here is guessing what terms our readers might be most
familiar with. I am assuming they are more likely to be familiar with
common terms rather than the technically correct ones. When in doubt I try
to use the terms used in the Help, but as the Help tends to be a bit
inconsistent in terminology in many cases, that's sometimes less than
useful as a source.
