I haven't got Word at hand at present (I have it in the office) so I do not understand what an entry list is. Ignoring this, it seems to me that in OOo it is very straightforward to solve Lynn's problem as it is very simple to mix and match bullets and numbering in a nested lists. Maybe you should suggest Lynn to get OOo ;-) Cheers, Michele
