Hello  Jean,

I agree that the workflow would need some rethinking and I can assure you
that it is not only the new users who get confused by the proliferation of
folders.

One year ago or so, I helped setting up the Italian group of OOo and I have
learnt some lessons during the process on how sophisticated processes are
prone to failure and how dangerous it is to rely too much on a single
person.
As the version after 2.4 will be version 3, it is an excellent time to
review the way we work. I will try to come up with some mechanism to manage
the update of the books in the next few days and propose them on this list.
