Well, as you are the writer/maintainer, then if you think they are up to date,
they probably are. :-) As I mentioned earlier, status lists are often not up
to date with the actual status of the chapters. I'll amend those entries.

any Calc specific things? I expected that generic coverage would have
been sufficient.
I don't know of any Calc-specific things, but then I'm not very familiar with
Calc. My intention was to copy most (possibly all) of that material from the
equivalent Getting Started chapter; and where an example is given, use
something Calc-related (and have the figures show "Calc" selected instead of
"Writer").
To summarise:
Chapter 7 is top of the "desperately seeking a writer" list. Other chapters
needing serious work are 3, 4, and probably 9 and 11.
Lastly, I suspect that other topics might need coverage that are not even in
the outline for the book... that's only a suspicion, because I'm not familiar
enough with spreadsheets to know what needs to be covered.
