Having now the time to compare and exploration, I would like to comment
as follows:
- the text in the "save", "copy", ... is hardly readable on a 15" screen;
- when one want to change the order in the contents mode, the arrows are
not visible and therefore it is not possible to change the order;
- the navigation side bar is not left aligned to side of my screen and
takes sometimes half of the screen -- this is also due to the fact that
the names of the files are very long ;-)

and to me there are some double roles; we should try and limit it to 6
only and give each of them specific rights:
- Anonyous: a visitor to the site, who wants to retrieve some documentation;
- Author: somebody who is writing original documentation;
- Translator: who is contributing to the project by translating;
- Contributor: somebody who can contribute other things to the website
than documents, such as the table with status of the translations;
- Manager: somebody who can change the website for his/her local
documentation;
- Owner: is in charge of the whole website
Let us discuss ;-)
I compared the Dutch sections in both the old and new instances and
would like to comment as follow:
- "Overzicht werkzaamheden voor versie 3.x" is missing;
- "Wie is wie" is missing
- The folders "Aanwijzingen en hulpmiddelen", "Aanwijzingen beheer
site", "Hulpmiddelen voor de vertaling", "Feedback" and "Archief"
(without 3.x) are missing with all sub-folders and documents.
We should also clearly agree what is meant by the different statuses of
a document, as confusion arises when these terms are translated. Can
anybody give the roadmap on how a document is going from one status to
the next? Sometimes there is a conflict between the name of the status,
when assigning, compared to the status shown in the listings. Could this
be harmonised?
The documents which are pending for review are not shown on the homepage
in the Dutch section.
