The document follows prescribed naming conventions, but I was unable to
locate similar instructions to describe the doc in the Plone interface.

This is my first file, and being a newbie, I am open to constructive
criticism.

You named it correctly, and got it in the right place. We don't have guidelines for filling in the descriptions of uploaded docs, but probably should. Usually people give a brief summary of what they've done, for example "rewrote and reorganised some sections, suggested new figures" or whatever is relevant.

I've just downloaded and had a quick look at your review. Looks good; glad to see you've used change recording and notes correctly. I don't mind working with inline comments (which many people do) but correctly-done marginal notes are so much better. I'll go through it in detail later.

Just one thing: files placed in Feedback should not be submitted again for review; instead, the chapter's author is supposed to collect the reviewed copy, make any needed changes, and then submit it for further review.

Aside: Sometimes this workflow fails, especially with (usually older) files whose authors have all disappeared. I've been trying to (a) pick up the slack on orphaned chapters and (b) find people to take responsibility for them, but at this point I don't even have a comprehensive list of them. BTW, if you want to take over any of these files and be the responsible author, please feel free to offer to do so!
