I did more research in the HSQLDB User Guide and found what the
data types are. They are the choices available for the Field Type when
a table is created using Design View.
I suggest to go closer to original outline.
I uploaded my version, different from your, and added some words about
each sections suggested content.

Some part I can write, but some is out of my knowledge.
I think we can go one other chapters parallel to this one.
Other chapters can be produced faster than this.

I have looked over your outline, added more details for the Default
and HSQL data types. I also added several notes with questions where I
did not understand the outline contents.
