It's something that's always bothered the hell out of me with autofs:
It doesn't shut down "nicely", as opposed to SunOS's which at least
makes an attempt. So I was wondering what issues are present from
making shutdown a little neater? When I get a chance (something the
next week or so) I plan to look at this, and having a little primer on
what's wrong would be nice.
