I am using the autofs and had a strange experience:
When a new server was introduced (a file server I use)
,its YP map entry looked like this:
someuser somemachine2,somemachine1:/somedirectory
And I couldn't mount "somedirectory". Looking into the
code of autofs-3.1.3, I recognized that this format is not
supported. Will it be in future ? Or did I simply forget some
fancy option ? By the way, I cannot change the YP entry because
I do not have control of it.
I did a fast hack in parse_sun.c, but that one is not so nice...
