Dear All,
I have a NIS server(solaris) and NIS clients(solaris,SUN U60).I have
destributed the home directories of all users on these Workstations,so
that any user wants to logon on any WS,their home drives should get
mounted under mount points /users/xxx where xxx is the login name.For
this,in Solaris I have the fallowing entries,
auto_master :
/users auto_home
auto_home:
+auto_home
This works fine.
In Linux I have a 2.2.9 linux-mandrake and autofs 3..1.3 loaded,i have
configured this as NIS client to my existing NIS server(solaris).In
Linux box I have created same entries in auto.master,auto.home..Now the
client is working but users home drives are not getting mounted(Home
directories are destributed across all NIS clients and it is mounted
under common mount point called /users).But still i am not able to mount
the same on linux,Please help me out.
