Well, okay, there is one keyboard/monitor, but I can hit alt-f2 and
login "at the console" as another user. (And that extends to each
computer on the KVM switch, but isn't really relevant.) I didn't know
there was a way to hook into console switching to change the permissions
of the floppy, and if there were, that sounds more like a security issue
than grabbing the uid of the pid trying to access an automount mount.
