It's certainly stable in the sense of not having changed in a long while.
There's a few open bugs, but they're all pretty minor. Any moment now
I'm going to get the OPEN_MAX email that breaks my back and do another
release.
As for the potential for race conditions, could you explain? What are your
concerns?
