Hi, I tried to setup autofs mainly to access removable peripheral as floppy and cdrom. That works, however, I have got the following problem : when I want to access to the floppy using a user account, I can access the floppy, but I do not have writing rights on it, because the floppy directory belongs to root.
How to setup autofs to allow user write access to peripheral ? I would like my floppy to act like a DOS system (mount/umount is not done by the user). I think autofs is the right solution , isn't it ? I used supermount for a few months, but I left it , supermount is not reliable. Thanks for any help. Best Regards. S.ANCELOT
