Title: RE: What is the status of the AutoFS project? Let's not let it die...

For our use, auto.direct means to use linux or not, since without direct mounts, linux cant fit into our solaris/hpux environment! Would be really glad to se linux gets this feature, since it looks to me as one of the main difference between commercial unix and linux is well implemented automounter!

Solaris too, but if we're going there, we havn't mentioned direct
automounts for a while...
