Hello All, So I went through the manual installation to see how the entire stack is, and many things broke. I have provided some information on the issue tracker too.
But after a while, I gave up the manual setup. autotest depends on python-django and the python-django in Debian is newer. So some interfaces broke there. Right now, I set it up, as instructed, on the Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS Server. autotest definitely needs a version dependency based packaging. I myself am a DD and may consider packaging it, some day, as I get more versed with autotest, and really consider using it for our day job. :-) Currently, at work, we are evaluating autotest for certain cross-platform framework.
