+1 for stable framework release. (Say this weekend?)

However I am a little hesitent to release excalibur as non-beta until i18n 
and thread packages are finalized and moved across. I would +1 a beta 
release. Maybe if you don't mind waiting a week after framework I could 
finish the threading stuff.

Besides staggering the releases could make more noise and thus raise more 
awareness ;)

I stored a list of sites in CVS under 

jakarta-avalon/tools/Release-Checklist.txt

which may be useful.
