In other words, if it cannot be used as a starting point, to join
efforts, then it is not usable.  If you find the API to be complete
trash, then it is not usable.

I'm trying to avoid unnecessary duplication wo that we have fewer
issues with the NIH treatment you experienced with Centipede on
the General@ list.
