There are also configuration related utilities in org.apache.excalibur.configuration (currently under the Merlin branch) that should/could move to framework.configuration and ConfigurationUtil. I.e. it could be a good idea to validate what utilities related to configuration are scattered around and do some rationalization of a enhanced ConfigurationUtil class. Steve. -- Stephen J.
