I won't go as far as vetoing its adoption, but for now here a -1 on the adoption of SVN for avalon.I suggest we *try* it, not that we *adopt* it. Getting ourselves familiar in an early stage and providing some user feedback is good.
I would pretty much try and veto adopting SVN right now if it were neccessary (it doesn't satisfy requirements), but I'm pretty enthousiastic about adopting SVN when requirements are satisfied.
