For better or worse, the phrase "it is poorly written" is taken by the people writing such code to reflect upon their person, whereas the phase "it is a bug" is psychologically neutral. This may seem silly, but although I have been known to say that computers run code not egos, software is written by humans, and humans are not machines. As for the allegation, is it supposition or fact? If the latter, you might have documented it to assist the developers in fixing it. For what it is worth, James doesn't even use the class in question. And this issue apparently, only happens with Merlin not Phoenix.
