After looking at the logo in different sizes on different screens and from 3 printers, I am not too happy with a background shadow. The current logo looks all but exactly the same in all instances, with a shadow you loose that at IMO not enough gain.
The logo deserves some fine tuning with regard to shading (it should be more 'pronounced'), line thickness and relative object scales, though. I'm attaching the SVG and the PDF now. cheers, LSD
