Viacheslav,
PH> Perhaps think of Glue (SOAP) instead of CORBA.
SOAP is very poor technology, only IPC. For complex applications I
must develop by self: SAOP based transaction service, naming service,
notification service, concurrency control service, security service,
domain management, mapping tools for non Java tools.
Well we disagree about Glue then. IMHO it is very cool.
At this point we have solved all this task, we plan use Phoenix only
for management, monitoring and deployment of components.
There are three ways for implement this.
1. OpenORB community was VOTE for proposal OpenORB as Jakarta project.
If this was happened we join to the team and perform some work for
OpenORB - Avalone integration (this point was discussed in OpenORB list).
Avalon (no e). I did not have much success when I last suggested to the
OpenEJB team (related) to migrate to Avalon-Phoenix. I doubt you will
have any sucess with the same suggestion for OpenORB. :-(
2. If OpenORB will be modified ClosedORB. We contact with Geral Brose
(leader of JacORB team) with proposal of integrate JacORB - Avalone.
Management and deployment framework now need for JacORB.
Same thought. You'll met resistance for a migration to Avalon.
3. We by self integrate JacORB into Phoenix (not full Avalone).
Phoenix is full Avalon :-)
