Thats very very kool!

When I originally came into Avalon project I was working on a messaging
server that incorporated Jabber into it. Unfortunately the company went belly
up and we stopped but its always a good thing to see that you are doing this
;)

So where do you plan to go with this? Are you going to allow pluggable
transports and so forth. In the future could there be bridges to ICQ and
friends? Also are you going to set up some sort of API for processing
incoming messages - something like the James Mailet API -
http://jakarta.apache.org/james/mailet/index.html

This looks really fun. Wish I had more time so I could help you out.
