Exactly.

I should also correct myself: x2divx doesn't compile (for me) with
0.6-cvs. I still use 0.53.x library for running it.

This raises another problem: why not "version" libaviplay? Currently,
in both 0.53.x and 0.6.x packages we've got .so.0.0.0, so to run apps
linked with older version, I have to keep it in separate dir and use
hacks like LD_LIBRARY_PATH ...
