The problem I had with oversized fonts is fixed now. It was
indeed a QT problem..or more to the point, a problem with my
environment variables. I hadn't restarted X since installing
QT. Not a smart idea. :-)
Moved QT where it's supposed to be, set my environment in my
.bash_profile, logged all the way out, and back in and all was
fixed.
