Hello everyone

What we have new for this week:

Playing AC3 audio stream (for now without AC3 passthrough for SBLive
but this support is planned for the future)
for this playback we use AC3 library which is part of ffmpeg source tree.
There seem to be few different API version floating around here
- mplayer seems to have some ultra-super-extra-brutal optimized version
so it takes few cpu cycles less - so if anyone with non hw-accelerated
k6 300 CPU wants to view DivX with AC3 audio stream (and he believes its
not worth to spend some extra money for at least TNT2 and some decent
Celeron 400 - just remember - the quality of X11 display is nowhere near
to hw accelerated YUV) lets go and play the file with mplayer as I'm not
going to backport this to aviplay for now.

Full support for decoding ALaw, uLaw audio formats

The biggest news - I would say the qtrecompressor seems to be able
to create some decent movie with some nice filter effects without
too many crashes :). We are still not at VirtualDub level but at least
progress bar begins to look similary :)

Also during bugfixing of qtrecompressor I've manage to cleanup quite
serious bug in avireading code (at least I think so) and I think
now the audio-video synchronization should be really perfect
(if there is anyone who disagre - let's just send me URL to movie sample)
